Basketball Game Preview: Greece Athena Trojans vs. Webster Thomas Titans

The Greece Athena Trojans will take on the Webster Thomas Titans in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Greece Athena might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Fairport an easy 68-46 win.

Meanwhile, Webster Thomas scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell to Brockport 57-52. The loss continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now lost four in a row.

Webster Thomas' defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Greece Athena, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Greece Athena didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Webster Thomas in their previous matchup back in December of 2015, but they still walked away with a 64-58 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Greece Athena since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
