Soccer Recap: North Central Takes a Loss

If North Central was riding high fresh off their 9-0 takedown of Warren Central on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers fell just short of the Westfield Shamrocks by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. North Central have struggled against Westfield recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

North Central's goal came courtesy of Erin Mackey, who's now up to two this season.

North Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Westfield, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0-1.

Coming up, North Central will challenge Pendleton Heights at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Westfield, they will welcome Cathedral at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
