Carrollton has gone 8-2 against Lexington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Trojans will face off against the Minutemen at 4:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Carrollton was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Richmond on Tuesday. The Trojans blew past the Spartans 11-1. Considering the Trojans have won four contests by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lexington, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against Leeton on Wednesday as they made off with a 9-1 victory.

Alex Kraft was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That double marked the first that he hit this season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Miguel Gonzalez, who scored four runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-3. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Braxton Emerson, who scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Carrollton's record now sits at 7-5. As for Lexington, their record is now 5-11.

Everything went Carrollton's way against Lexington in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Carrollton made off with an 8-1 win. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Minutemen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
