Football Game Preview: Neshaminy Skins vs. Pennsbury Falcons

Neshaminy and Pennsbury are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2016, but not for long. The Skins will venture away from home to take on the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Neshaminy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Central Bucks South, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Skins fell just short of the Titans by a score of 24-21 on Friday. The Skins haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Neshaminy might have lost, but man, Michael Eckart was a machine: he rushed for 61 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 238 yards and one TD. 108 of those passing yards were hauled in by Brock Williams.

Don't try to pin the team's loss on the defense: they kept the trenches locked down and allowed a mere 3.5 yards per carry. The team can thank Dan McGarrity for the heroic effort on defense: he. Neshaminy's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 5.2.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pennsbury). They blew past Abington 42-6 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Falcons needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Pennsbury's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Neshaminy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Neshaminy and Pennsbury were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but Neshaminy came up empty-handed after a 22-21 defeat. Can the Skins avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
