Volleyball Game Preview: Prospect Knights vs. Hersey Huskies

The Prospect Knights will challenge the Hersey Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Prospect is returning to their home court after beating Wheeling on theirs, despite the fact Wheeling has dominated at home this season. The Knights came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday.

The victory didn't come easy: Wheeling scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Hersey beat Buffalo Grove 2-0 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskies.

While Hersey won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20.

Hersey's win bumped their record up to 17-10. As for Prospect, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

Prospect came out on top in a nail-biter against Hersey when the teams last played back in April, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Huskies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
