If ALA - Queen Creek was feeling good fresh off their 64-44 takedown of Eastmark last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The ALA - Queen Creek Patriots lost 84-61 to the Prescott Badgers on Monday. The Patriots' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

ALA - Queen Creek lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Austin Fullmer, who went 8 of 12 en route to 21 points in addition to six assists and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Layfe Clarkson, who posted 15 points and five boards.

Prescott had a senior duo take command as Uriah Tenette went 8 for 12 from beyond the arc on his way to 40 points and seven assists and Zane Gaul shot 4-for-7 from long range and dropped a double-double on 33 points and 12 rebounds. Tenette is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in the last 40 games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Magnett, who had 11 points and three blocks.

ALA - Queen Creek's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5. As for Prescott, their victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-5.

ALA - Queen Creek has already played their next matchup, a 65-46 win against Combs on the 15th. As for Prescott, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 75-33 victory against Flagstaff on the 15th.
