Soccer Recap: Belmond-Klemme Comes Up Short

Belmond-Klemme was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 5-1 to the Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets. While losing is never fun, Belmond-Klemme can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 201st, while Iowa Falls-Alden are ranked 96th).

Belmond-Klemme's loss dropped their record down to 1-11-2. As for Iowa Falls-Alden, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

While Belmond-Klemme had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Friday.
