Basketball Recap: Spaulding Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Spaulding can now relate to. They fell 52-45 to the Lamoille Lancers on Thursday. The Crimson Tide were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lancers earlier this season, when they won 68-62.

Spaulding's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-6. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27 points. As for Lamoille, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

Looking ahead, Spaulding will be playing at home against Harwood at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lamoille, they will face off against Thetford Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lamoille is facing Thetford Academy at the right time seeing as Thetford Academy is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
