Basketball Recap: Victory Prep Academy's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Victory Prep Academy's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 25-12 victory over the Beth Eden Baptist Knights. The win was some much needed relief for Victory Prep Academy as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Victory Prep Academy found their leader in freshman Joselyn Ruiz, who posted nine points and eight boards. Ariana Orozco was another key player, putting up six points in addition to ten rebounds and three blocks.

Victory Prep Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.
