Volleyball Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Valley View Spartans. If the Mohawks were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Spartans when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Madison's offense was headlined by Madi Harden and Avery Tarabrella, who picked up two kills apiece. Harden really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with three.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Valley View, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

Coincidentally, Madison and Valley View will both be playing Brookville the next time they take the court. The Mohawks will host the Blue Devils at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Spartans will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
