Palmerton has gone a perfect 9-0 against Saucon Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Blue Bombers will head out to square off against the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Palmerton is headed into Wednesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They came up short against Southern Lehigh, falling 9-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Blue Bombers were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Saucon Valley faced off against Northwestern Lehigh on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 8-0 to the Tigers. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Saucon Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Palmerton, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Palmerton took their win against Saucon Valley in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 15-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Bombers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
