Lake Minneola posted their biggest win since April 18, 2024 on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Tavares Bulldogs as the Lake Minneola Hawks made off with an 11-1 victory. The Hawks' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Brayden Richter looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, Chase Dougherty was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Nolan Bultema also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Lake Minneola kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tavares onlymanaged four hits.

Lake Minneola will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Mount Dora at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mount Dora's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Lake Minneola's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Tavares, they will take on Seven Rivers Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Seven Rivers Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.
