Recap: Burbank Bulldogs vs. Glendale Nitros

The Burbank Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They fell to Glendale 62-56. While losing is never fun, Burbank can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 883rd, while Glendale is ranked 369th).

When it comes to explaining why Burbank lost, one person who can't be blamed is Odartey Blankson. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 26 points and 16 rebounds. Blankson is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamran Alborzian, who scored 16 points.

Burbank has not been sharp recently, as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. As for Glendale, they pushed their record up to 14-8 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Burbank will take on Arcadia at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Jordan Dollar and Blankson. As for Glendale, they will be playing at home against Muir at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
