Basketball Game Preview: Forest Grove Vikings vs. Tigard Tigers

Forest Grove is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts 70-39. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Vikings as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Tigard waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They rang in the new year with a 67-57 victory over the Quakers. While the Tigers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Tigard's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for Forest Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.
