Basketball Recap: Grants Pass Comes Up Short

If Grants Pass was feeling good fresh off their 70-46 takedown of Crater last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Grants Pass Cavemen lost 75-50 to the Barlow Bruins on Friday.

Grants Pass' loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Barlow, the victory (which was their sixth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grants Pass will venture away from home to take on Sherwood at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Sherwood's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Barlow, they are taking a road trip to square off against Grant at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th. Barlow knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Grant likes a good challenge.
