Soccer Recap: Hamilton Takes a Loss

There was early excitement for Hamilton after they claimed the first goal on Thursday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Live Oak Lions by a score of 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Braves in their matchups with the Lions: they've now lost three in a row.

Hamilton's goal came courtesy of Adrian Martinez, which was the first he's scored this season.

Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Live Oak, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-2-1.

Hamilton will face off against Redding Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Live Oak, they will challenge Gridley at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
