Soccer Game Preview: Azle vs. Burleson

The Azle Hornets will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Burleson Elks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Azle's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Azle's offense. They lost 5-0 to Argyle on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Burleson had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They and Granbury finished up their game with a 2-2 draw on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Elks as the team has yet to pick up a win this season.

Ryley Stade and Ivan Cardona scored both of Burleson's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Azle's loss dropped their record down to 0-3-1. Burleson's draw gives them a new season record of 0-4-1.
