Baseball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Belmont Braves, falling 9-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cardinals have suffered since April 11th.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Belmont, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Highland will face off against Pecatonica at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cardinals are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Belmont, they will take on River Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
