Soccer Recap: Tyler Comes Up Short

Tyler lost against Trinity Christian back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights came up short against the Warriors, falling 5-2. That's two games in a row now that Tyler have lost by exactly three goals.

Slayton Lewis and Cole Lemasters scored both of Tyler's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Tyler and nudges their season record down to 1-3-2. As for Trinity Christian, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Tyler has already played their next game, a 7-0 victory against Roane County on the 13th. As for Trinity Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Wood County Christian on the 12th.
