Volleyball Recap: South Christian Comes Up Short

South Christian lost against Hudsonville back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Sailors fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, South Christian sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-14, 21-25, 15-9.

South Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Hudsonville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Christian will challenge Holland Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, Hudsonville and East Kentwood will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 8:00 a.m. on September 6. The Eagles are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
