It was a good run, but Prospect unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Libertyville Wildcats. The Knights were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in May of 2022.

Brendan Ziegenhorn paced Prospect's offense, picking up six kills. Ziegenhorn got some help from Ryan Cook and his ten assists. Cook was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Prospect's loss dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Libertyville, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 19-1.

Prospect has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Wheeling on the 6th. As for Libertyville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Glenbrook North on the 5th.
