Basketball Recap: Badger Comes Up Short

Badger was the 87-60 winner over Union Grove when they last played one another back in December of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Badgers took a 90-73 bruising from the Broncos on Tuesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Badgers came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the Broncos are ranked 232nd).

This is the second loss in a row for Badger and nudges their season record down to 10-6. As for Union Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Badger and South Milwaukee will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Union Grove, they will face off against St. Catherine's on Saturday.
