Natalia was the 14-0 winner over Crystal City when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Javelinas on Tuesday. The Mustangs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Kira Jimenez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two RBI. Selyene Gallegos was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.

Natalia's loss dropped their record down to 18-7-1. As for Crystal City, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-8.

Natalia didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-2 victory against Cotulla on the 11th. As for Crystal City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 11-1 defeat against Hondo on the 11th.
