Volleyball Recap: Thunder Ridge Takes a Loss

Thunder Ridge and Cheylin squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Thunder Ridge had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Thunder Ridge ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18.

Thunder Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 10-21. As for Cheylin, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Thunder Ridge nor Cheylin have any future games scheduled.
