Basketball Recap: Pontiac Comes Up Short

Pontiac lost against Farmington two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pontiac Phoenix fell just short of the Farmington Falcons by a score of 41-38.

Despite the loss, Pontiac still got an impressive performance from Germani Hall, who went 11-for-25 on her way to 30 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals. That was a full 78.9% of Pontiac's points, marking the ninth time in a row Hall has posted more than a third of the team's points.

Pontiac's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Farmington, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-11 record this season.

Pontiac is taking a road trip to face off against University at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Farmington, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Oak Park at 7:00 p.m.
