Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lawrence Academy walked away with it. They never let the North Hills Christian Eagles get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

The team relied heavily on Nike Wiggins, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Hunter Eason, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Lawrence Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Hills Christian only posted an OBP of .067.

Lawrence Academy's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-6. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for North Hills Christian, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-12 record.

Looking ahead, Lawrence Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Crossroads Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Colts have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season. North Hills Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
