Bishop Kelly will be playing in front of their home fans against Emmett at 7:00 p.m. Bishop Kelly will be strutting in after a victory while Emmett will be coming in after a defeat.
Bishop Kelly's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Caldwell with a sharp 7-0 win. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Not much got past Luca Quilici, who gave up just two hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Caldwell off the board. Those ten strikeouts gave Quilici a new career-high.
On the hitting side, Bishop Kelly let Colin Brazil and Sy Wong run wild. Brazil scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4, while Wong went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Bishop Kelly is 3-1 when Brazil posts two or more runs, but 0-6 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Keck, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, Emmett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 7-1 to Skyview.
Cody Muffley was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.
At the plate, Emmett saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Simonsen, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Ryder Scheibe also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
The victory made it two in a row for Bishop Kelly and bumps their season record up to 3-7. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to hits: they averaged an imposing ten hits in those games compared to only 5.38 in the others. As for Emmett, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
Everything went Bishop Kelly's way against Emmett in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Bishop Kelly made off with an 11-1 win. Does Bishop Kelly have another victory up their sleeve, or will Emmett turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
