Softball Game Preview: Aberdeen Eagles vs. Harford Tech Cobras

Aberdeen is 2-7 against Harford Tech since March of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cobras at 3:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Aberdeen came up short against C. Milton Wright on Tuesday, falling 16-1.

Meanwhile, Harford Tech fell victim to North East and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 9-0 to the Indians. The Cobras haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Harford Tech's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Aberdeen, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.

Aberdeen suffered a grim 20-1 defeat to Harford Tech in their previous meeting back in March of 2025. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
