Volleyball Recap: Covington Academy Triumphs

The Covington Academy Bulldogs were able to grind out a solid win over the Peachtree Academy Panthers on Monday, taking the game 2-0.

Covington Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Peachtree Academy, they dropped their record down to 10-13 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Covington Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Academe of the Oaks at 4:30 p.m. on October 6. As for Peachtree Academy, they have already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Creekside Christian Academy on the 23rd.
