San Juan had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Judge Memorial Catholic Bulldogs.
Morgann Mcpherson paced San Juan's offense, picking up 12 kills. Mcpherson got some help from Keezie Flannery and her 26 assists. Averie Gilson controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.
San Juan's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Judge Memorial Catholic, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.
Coincidentally, San Juan and Judge Memorial Catholic will both be playing Hillcrest the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Huskies at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Broncos will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
