Basketball Recap: Charlotte Takes a Loss

Charlotte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 73-31 loss at the hands of the Eaton Rapids Greyhounds. The Orioles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-21.

Despite the defeat, Charlotte saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Peyton Howarth posted 17 points. Howarth continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Charlotte's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Eaton Rapids, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

Charlotte will be playing at home against Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Eaton Rapids, they will square off against Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
