Kiowa is a perfect 10-0 against Hanover since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Indians will look to defend their home court against the Hornets at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Kiowa came up short against Pikes Peak Christian and fell 3-1. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Pikes Peak Christian scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 25-27, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Hanover also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to The Colorado Springs School by a score of 3-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Hornets in their meetings with the Kodiaks: they've now lost three in a row.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22, 19-25, 25-11.

Hanover's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Kiowa, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

Kiowa took their victory against Hanover when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Hornets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
