Football Recap: Denver East Takes a Loss

Denver East was the 42-12 winner over Vista PEAK Prep when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Angels had to suffer through a 48-21 loss at the hands of the Bison.

Denver East's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Vista PEAK Prep, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Denver East will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Liberty at 4:00 p.m. on September 12. As for Vista PEAK Prep, they will venture away from home to face off against Overland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
