Soccer Recap: Beacon Hill Comes Up Short

After flying high against Pilgrim last Friday, Beacon Hill came back down to earth. The Beacon Hill Gryphon lost 6-2 to the Newbury Park Adventist Gators on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Gryphon in their matchups with the Gators: they've now lost three in a row.

Josiah Pereyra and Beni Georgescu scored both of Beacon Hill's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Beacon Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for Newbury Park Adventist, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Beacon Hill nor Newbury Park Adventist have any future games scheduled.
