Zion Christian Academy never let their opponents score on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet Royals as the Zion Christian Academy Eagles made off with a 13-0 victory. The Eagles not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since March 18, 2024.

Jack Handley and Carson Boylan did most of the damage at the plate: Handley scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Boylan went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was J.T. Fox, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Zion Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet only posted an OBP of .300.

Zion Christian Academy now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Zion Christian Academy will square off against Mt. Pleasant at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet, they will head out to challenge Non Varsity Opponent at 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
