Venice made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Universal Academy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Indians put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. The Indians' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Venice never let Universal Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 26-24.

Venice's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. As for Universal Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Venice will welcome Poinciana Christian Preparatory at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Universal Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Keswick Christian at 6:00 p.m. The Crusaders will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
