Soccer Recap: Howland Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Howland faced off against Canfield on Thursday. The Tigers fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 1-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Canfield this season, with their most recent loss being a 4-3 defeat back in September.

Howland's loss dropped their record down to 10-5-3. As for Canfield, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.

Howland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Canfield, they will be taking part in a tournament against Aurora at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Canfield's defense better be ready for this one: Aurora have averaged an impressive 3.6 goals per game this season.
