Softball Game Preview: Aldine Mustangs vs. MacArthur Generals

Aldine hasn't had much luck against MacArthur recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Mustangs will take on the Generals at 11:30 a.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Aldine had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against Fort Bend Marshall as they made off with a 20-3 win.

Meanwhile, MacArthur posted their closest victory since March 1, 2025 on Tuesday. They skirted past Cypress Lakes 12-10.

Aldine might still be hurting after the 15-0 defeat they got from MacArthur in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
