The Braves fell 3-1 to the Shamrocks last Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Braves in their meetings with the Shamrocks: they've now lost three in a row.
Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-8, 25-14, 25-13.

Mikey Millikan put forth a good effort for the losing side as he had 11 digs and five assists. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last three games he's played.
Meanwhile, Zionsville got the win against Noblesville last Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Millers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Zionsville's got stronger as the match went on, holding Noblesville to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-21, 25-19.
Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory better focus on containing Landon Scroggins and JT Norris as the pair were huge in Zionsville's win. Scroggins had 16 digs and one assist, while Norris had 12 digs. Those 12 digs gave Norris a new career-high.
Zionsville's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
Everything went Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory's way against Zionsville when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Braves since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
