Baseball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Douglass Eagles, falling 18-2. That's two games in a row now that the Falcons have lost by exactly 16 runs.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Douglass, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Central is set to challenge their familiar foe Friendly on April 7. Meanwhile, Douglass will face off against rival Surrattsville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
