It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Oak Ridge had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They walked away with a 64-55 win over the Maryville Red Rebels. The victory was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won 19 games in a row.

Despite the loss, Maryville still got an impressive performance from Brayden Hazelbaker, who went 7-for-16 en route to 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonathan Woodlee, who shot 71% from the field on his way to 11 points along with five assists and three steals.

Oak Ridge's win bumped their record up to 28-3. As for Maryville, they moved to 23-12 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Oak Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 51-50 victory against Sevier County on the 10th. As for Maryville, they have also already played their next contest, a 55-45 win against Science Hill on the 10th.
