Basketball Recap: Pottsville Takes a Loss

Pottsville suffered their closest defeat since December 20, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Dardanelle Sand Lizards by a score of 56-53. The Apaches were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Sand Lizards earlier this season, when they won 56-41.

Pottsville's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 12-8. As for Dardanelle, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-8.

Pottsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dardanelle, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Marshall at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
