Soccer Recap: Stoneman Douglas Comes Up Short

Stoneman Douglas lost against South Broward back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Stoneman Douglas Eagles fell just short of the South Broward Bulldogs by a score of 1-0. The shutout was out of character for the Eagles seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2024.

Stoneman Douglas' defeat dropped their record down to 9-2-2. As for South Broward, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Stoneman Douglas does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Broward, they will host Somerset Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Somerset Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.3 goals per game this season.
