Brady Woodard gave up the fewest hits he has since back in March on Tuesday. He did his part (and then some), not allowing a single earned run over 5.2 innings pitched for the 'W'. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

Woodard's strong effort led Summit over Franklin and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans are 8-2 against the Admirals going back to March of 2020, a lead they'll look to extend.
