Costa Mesa posted their closest win since October 24, 2024 on Saturday. They skirted past the Northview Vikings 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Costa Mesa's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Northview, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season.

Costa Mesa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Fullerton on the 13th. As for Northview, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Rowland at 5:00 p.m. The contest will give the Vikings their first taste of in-conference action this season.
