Baseball Recap: Freedom Prep Academy Comes Up Short

Fairley hit Freedom Prep Academy with a four-run second inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 6-5. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Freedom Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Fairley, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Freedom Prep Academy will head out to challenge Sheffield at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fairley, they will venture away from home to take on Kirby at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
