Basketball Game Preview: Columbus Explorers vs. Grant Generals

The Columbus Explorers and the Grant Generals will round out the year against one another at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Columbus' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Columbus is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: Long Island Lutheran, who was ranked 22nd in their home state at the time (Columbus was ranked first). The Explorers took down the Crusaders 75-58 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Grant came up short against Oregon City on Friday and fell 61-48.

Grant now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Columbus, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.
