Soccer Recap: Montevallo Comes Up Short

After flying high against Bessemer City last Tuesday, Montevallo came back down to earth. The Montevallo Bulldogs fell just short of the Chilton County Tigers by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Bulldogs couldn't quite close it out.

Montevallo's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Chilton County, the victory snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 1-7 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Montevallo will welcome Indian Springs at 5:00 p.m. on March 6th. As for Chilton County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Stanhope Elmore at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
