Volleyball Recap: Versailles Comes Up Short

Versailles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Osage Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-20, 23-25, 25-12, 25-14.

Izzy Milligan was the offensive standout of the match as she had 13 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played dating back to last season.

Versailles' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Osage, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Versailles didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Sweet Springs on the 13th. As for Osage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Fulton on the 15th.
