Volleyball Recap: Corona Del Mar Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Corona del Mar, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Marina Vikings on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Sea Kings: when they faced off against the Vikings on September 4th, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

The win didn't come easy: Marina scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 20-25, 25-20, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Marina saw an underclassman step up: freshman Rylee Hartwell had 18 digs and four aces. Hartwell is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 18 or more in each of the last three games she's played.
